HFA Periodicals
Publication of Journals and Newsletters ended in 2018. However, Members have online access to all back issues. Members and Non-Members can purchase printed copies of some back issues. - Journals were published from 1990-2018 with 117 issues and nearly 2900 pages of information. They typically featured pre-1900 genealogical material.
- Newsletters were published from 1981-2018 with 135 issues and over 1800 pages of information. They typically featured current and post-1900 genealogical material plus info about HFA events and members.

- Hulls in the American Revolution 1775–1783, by Phyllis J. Pankonin Hughes, 1997. A compilation of veterans, patriots, and loyalists with the Hull, Holl, Hohl, Hole, and Huls/Hulls surname
- The Hull Family in America, by Col. Charles H. Weygant, 1913. One of the earliest books to depict the three early New England immigrants (George, Rev. Joseph, and Richard Hull. While known to contain a number of errors, it is still recommended reading.

- Hulls in 1850, A Directory of Persons Surnamed Hull in the U.S. in 1850, compiled by Robert Hull Taylor, 1983. A valuable research tool.
- New England Genesis: A Trilogy, by Clint Hull. Three books of historical fiction based on the life and times of Rev. Joseph Hull, his son Tristram, and his grandsons John Hull and Joseph Hull.
